Located in Germany, Off-University offers researchers and students with limited opportunity to move around an occasion to participate freely in online education. We’re inviting academics who have been purged from their institutions, forced to resign, who are legally and politically persecuted because of their opinion and research by anti-democratic regimes to submit their online course proposals.

The online courses will be taught on the Off-University platform during the 2019/20 winter term (14 weeks, October 2019 – February 2020). Selected lecturers will receive 1000 € per month as an honorarium for their teaching, for a total of five months.

Courses can be proposed from all academic fields and in English, Turkish or German. Applicants of non-male gender are strongly encouraged to apply and will be given priority where qualifications are equal. Applicants with a disability will be given priority where qualifications are equal.

Proposals should be submitted on the platform by 24th May, 2019 midnight (CET).
