This article deals with the intensification of repression and the disappearance of freedom of speech, human rights in Turkish universities within Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s era. It also deals with the early structure of university in this country and the influence of German Jewish scholars during the 1930s and the foundation of the Turkish University.
