Urban, economic and political dynamics in Anatolia. A study from the case of Kayseri.

Depuis l’arrivée du Parti de la justice et du développement au pouvoir en novembre 2002, les espaces urbains en Turquie sont en grande mutation. Dans ce processus, la ville de Kayseri a vu se nouer une coalition entre milieux économiques et partis politiques visant à transformer puis maintenir la ville dans son statut de métropole. Un enjeu important dans le contexte des réformes gouvernementales de décentralisation renforçant les pouvoirs locaux des grandes municipalités. Et tandis que, dans le même temps, Kayseri ne reste pas en dehors des tensions politiques locales et nationales.
